Shukul Raaj Kumar

Shukul Raaj Kumar is a graduate in Public Policy and Global Affairs, with two Minors in Entrepreneurship and Sociology from Nanyang Technological University. Currently, he serves as the Chairperson of the Inter-Religious Organisation Youth Wing. He is also the Vice-Chairperson and leads the Programmes Team in Hindu Youth Network, which falls under the auspices of Hindu Endowment Board.

In his inter-faith journey, Raaj has actively sought to build relationships with various community partners and engage them in events and dialogue, that promote nuanced knowledge-sharing and rapport-building. He also seeks to empower Hindu Youths to learn and explore their faith, while also gaining valuable insights into the inter-faith world. He has been invited on multiple occasions to be a panellist and speaker, presenting perspectives that blend the wisdom of traditional scriptures with emerging issues of our contemporary world, such as the intersectionality of Religion, Gender, Politics and Capitalism.

He has over 11 years of working and volunteering experience with multiple communities and sectors such as in Public Service and Social Service. His experiences in leadership positions, as well as academic foundation in Public Policy, International Relations, Philosophy, Interfaith work, Entrepreneurship and Sociology has also empowered him to deeply connect with communities and explore issues from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
